With us, you work closely with the operations where finance, goal management, and quality are intertwined. We want you to be involved early in processes and forums where choices are discussed so that economic and strategic perspectives are integrated before decisions are made.

As a controller, you will:

  • Lead the administration's budget process and produce forecasts and operational reports in close collaboration with managers.
  • Continuously analyze the operations' results, revenues, and costs. Identify deviations and propose measures.
  • Follow up and analyze community building projects. You are a key person in calculating fees and charges within the urban planning area.
  • Be responsible for the administration's interim and annual financial statements.
  • Develop and maintain good internal control and routines for financial processes.
  • Act as a financial advisor to managers on financial issues, contractual matters, and when preparing materials for committee decisions.

As a controller, you will be part of the operational support department, which includes the units Geodata and Community-funded travel. The department is also responsible for committee administration, finance, quality issues, and serves as an overarching administrative support. The department consists of about 18 employees. You report to the head of the operational support department.

Your profile

You are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented, with the ability to see complex relationships and wholes. You have a strong interest in the operations and in developing methods and working practices that lead to long-term sustainable results.

As a person, you are communicative and confident in adapting your message pedagogically to different target groups – from operational staff to political decision-makers. You thrive in a role where you can combine independent work with collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Academic education in finance or equivalent experience deemed relevant by the employer.
  • Several years of experience in qualified controller work in a similar role.
  • Experience in analysis and investigation assignments, including socio-economic calculations and impact assessments.
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft's software suite and financial systems.
