Sabbatsbergsbyn is a care and nursing home with 106 apartments distributed across 11 departments.

Nine departments are for the elderly with diagnosed cognitive diseases, and two departments are for physically elderly individuals who require care and support around the clock.

Your role

As a group leader, you report to the unit manager and will work closely with both the unit manager and other employees. You will work on the development of the unit, quality work, be responsible for the onboarding of new employees and students, handle administrative tasks, support/follow up on daily planning and operations, and guide employees in their daily work. You will also manage the process of moving in and out, which involves a lot of contact with relatives.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for someone who has:

• Higher vocational education focused on administration, preferably within care and nursing, or equivalent education.
• Several years of experience working in care and nursing.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious are:

• Experience working in municipal elderly care, both as care staff and administratively.
• Experience working as a group leader.
• Experience working in Parasol and Agresso.
• Project management training.
• Documented experience leading projects or working in projects and development work.

As a person, you have a structured and solution-focused approach. You are self-driven, goal-oriented, and results-oriented. You are motivated to prevent problems and develop the operations to stay one step ahead. You have a holistic view and consider the best interests of the entire operation in your actions and decisions. You communicate clearly and ensure that expectations are understood. You are interested in overarching issues and good at collaborating with others to create added value. For this assignment, we will place great emphasis on your personal abilities and skills.
