Your mission As an operator on FRA's signals intelligence plan, you belong to the signals intelligence department. The department is tasked with conducting signals intelligence according to the law on signals intelligence in defense intelligence operations. In this role, you will work on our aircraft and be the first link in an exciting production chain. During flight missions, you will map the signal environment and make the initial assessment of materials that will later be presented as reports to our clients.

The employment begins with a 7-month introduction and practical training at another location.

After that, you will become part of a team that works closely together during flight missions. Onboard, everyone has their own role, where each person is important for solving your common task. The work onboard is challenging and at times intense. Time in the air alternates with independent analytical work in the office. With us, you will grow into your role. As you develop, you will take on more complex tasks and eventually broaden your scope within your work area.

The position requires you to complete annual physical tests according to the Armed Forces' basic requirements, and training is therefore part of your job. Travel is included in the position, both domestic and international.

• High school education with a technical or scientific focus, or equivalent technical knowledge through work experience.
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Driving license B

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Post-secondary technical education
• Knowledge of military systems, platforms, or technology
• Knowledge in IT, telecommunications, or radio
• Programming or systems knowledge
• Experience working within the Armed Forces or defense industry
• Experience in the IT field, telecommunications, or radio

More information The workplace is located in the Linköping area. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. A requirement for employment is a passed physical test and a successful security clearance with a background check.
