Your Role

Advanced Programs works with the capability to develop future combat aircraft systems. Within Advanced Programs, the Overall Design section is responsible for the broad technical perspective, in close collaboration with other parts of the development department. We are now looking for an ILS Engineer for the Overall Design section who has the ability to take a step back and see the big picture.

As an ILS Engineer, you will play a central role in ensuring high quality throughout the system's entire lifecycle by contributing to the following activities based on your skills and interests.

• Reliability investigations
• Maintainability investigations
• Preparation of technical information
• Design of support systems (GSE)
• Optimization and recommendation of maintenance solutions

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to influence and suggest processes, methods, and tools within your area as a natural part of your tasks.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with an education in mechanical engineering or similar, or equivalent experience. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities and your understanding of the concept of maintenance and a system's lifecycle. We value a curious, analytical, and proactive personality.

You must have a high ability to communicate and produce documentation in both Swedish and English.

It is advantageous if you have previous ILS experience, experience in aftermarket activities, and simulation focused on operational performance and logistics analysis.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in certain cases, involve requirements for specific citizenship.
