We are looking for an interim Cybersecurity Officer to ensure continuity, governance, and regulatory compliance in a critical societal organization. The role has a clear strategic focus and involves close collaboration with the IT Director, security and preparedness functions, and legal affairs. You will be a key person in driving and following up on cybersecurity efforts and ensuring compliance with the Cybersecurity Act and related regulations.

• Act as Cybersecurity Officer responsible for strategic governance and follow-up of the organization's cybersecurity work
• Ensure compliance with the Cybersecurity Act and related regulations and requirements from the Civil Defense Authority
• Coordinate cybersecurity components within the Information and Cybersecurity and Data Protection Function
• Represent the organization in dialogue with supervisory authorities, management, and external parties
• Participate in overall risk management, incident reporting, and follow-up
• Ensure continuity in ongoing initiatives, including reporting to management and political levels
• Conduct a structured handover to the newly recruited Cybersecurity Officer

• At least ten years of documented professional experience in information and cybersecurity work
• Experience working as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) or equivalent function
• Documented experience working in the public sector or other critical societal operations
• Documented experience implementing regulatory requirements in the cybersecurity field
• Swedish language skills at a level corresponding to C1 according to CEFR in speaking, writing, and comprehension
• Swedish citizenship

• Experience working with the Cybersecurity Act (NIS2)
• Experience building or further developing management systems for information security
• Experience handling major incidents or crisis management related to IT
• Long-standing experience in cybersecurity work within the public sector
