IT Technician at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an IT technician, you will develop, support, and maintain our telephony solutions, primarily focusing on MDM systems. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring that the services provided function correctly and efficiently for our users, participating in projects and assignments. An important part of the role is to stay updated through, among other things, environmental monitoring. The role involves contact with external suppliers/partners and handling support cases that our 1st and 2nd line support cannot resolve, which means close collaboration with other internal and external partners.

The Communication Technology group consists of IT technicians, service managers, and coordinating IT technicians. We are currently responsible for the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's telephony solutions and digital meeting services. Responsibility for Rakel is under development. The group is a 3rd line grouping that develops and manages service packages used by our operations.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed upper secondary education or other education combined with work experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
• Several years of experience working as an IT technician/technician in telephony/MDM
• Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
• Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written English

It is advantageous if you have:

• Technical education in the field of telephony/MDM
• Experience working with special solutions in telephony/switches
• Experience working with management in telephony
• Experience working with MDM and EMM solutions for mobile devices
• Experience working with security technical issues
• Experience in service and support focused on telephony solutions
• Experience solving problems in complex IT environments
• Experience performing deeper troubleshooting on software and hardware
• Experience working within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
• Experience with ITIL
• Experience in technical documentation
• Knowledge of telephone platforms
• Knowledge of IT security
• Knowledge of Active Directory
• Knowledge of networks and communication technology
