Job Description

The main task is to ensure that internal export control processes are followed and that Group IT acts in accordance with the law. The role also includes providing advisory support to the customer's business areas on issues that combine export control and IT.

Additionally, the customer is working to manage the complexity of export control in relation to new technologies such as cloud-based data processing and storage (e.g., Azure, AWS) and artificial intelligence. With the increasing use of cloud and AI within the customer, our team plays a crucial role in developing and implementing export control policies that ensure compliance while enabling innovation. The customer is actively expanding our knowledge in cloud and AI to stay ahead and provide the best possible guidance to our IT colleagues. Our team's deep understanding of export control legislation allows Saab to safely utilize cloud platforms and AI technologies while minimizing risks.

Your Responsibilities

• Guide and support the organization in areas such as;

• Efficient working methods such as automation and implementation of IT support systems.

• Export control classification of hardware, software, and information is conducted in accordance with laws and regulations.

• License applications and reporting to Swedish and foreign authorities.

• Formulate clear guidelines and processes for export control.

• Monitor and follow up on Swedish and foreign export control regulations.

You enjoy problem-solving and have a knack for both the overall focus of the task and the details. Taking responsibility for your work is a given for you, and you do this by driving your tasks in a methodical and systematic way. A fundamental requirement for success in the role is your willingness and ability to collaborate with others. You are skilled at listening and identifying needs to best support and guide.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or law or other relevant education.

• Experience and knowledge in export control.

• Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

• Experience and knowledge in the technical areas of AI and Cloud.

• Experience and knowledge of the defense industry.

Location

The export control function is cross-location. The customer primarily seeks employees for offices in Linköping, Stockholm, or Gothenburg.
