As a backend developer at Insera, you will be part of a dedicated and skilled development team that builds and further develops Insera's BI system – Insight. The system is used by both private and public organizations for analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, handling large amounts of data from various systems.

As a backend developer, you will work on:

• Developing backend solutions in C# and .NET to manage large datasets and ensure stable and efficient performance.

• Building REST APIs and integrations to ensure smooth data flows between systems.

• Modernizing existing architecture, gradually upgrading technology and improving scalability.

In your work, you will collaborate closely with frontend developers, SQL experts, and business consultants, and interact with customers to understand their needs. You will be part of a team that works agilely with daily stand-ups and will join a culture that encourages your own ideas, technical innovation, and knowledge sharing. You will have great freedom to influence both technology choices and development processes, while also receiving support from an experienced team.

To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you:

• Have several years of experience in backend development, preferably from various industries and technical environments.

• Are proficient in C# and .NET and have experience with REST APIs.

• Have basic knowledge of SQL and can handle stored procedures.

• Are accustomed to working in teams and have a humble attitude where you are happy to share your knowledge.

• Take initiative and have a curious mindset towards improving both code and processes.

It is a plus if you have experience with:

• Fullstack development or basic frontend skills (e.g., JavaScript, CSS, etc.).

• Systems within industry, public sector, or analytics-driven organizations.

• AI and machine learning, as this is an area we want to invest more in going forward.

Location: Work will be performed from the office in Norrköping, with some possibility for remote work about 2 days/week.
