Your Role

You will be part of the Common Development area, which works on technology development for ground-based support systems for Gripen. The systems are central to both the tactical and technical loop to ensure high availability and operational efficiency! Our business is growing with several new orders, and we therefore need to strengthen our IT security team with a driven and committed employee.

As a Systems Security Specialist, you will participate in all phases from early concepts to product delivery. You are central in interpreting security requirements and, together with technical leaders, the team, and system architects, translating them into technical solutions in the products. You will also be involved in verifying the security design of the products to ultimately compile an IT security analysis to be sent to our customers.

Your Profile

As a person, you are positive, outgoing, driven, results-oriented, and a pronounced team player. A technology-oriented education from university/college is desirable, but knowledge acquired through other education and work experience is also interesting. You have good knowledge of IT security in Windows and/or Linux systems.

We would also like you to have experience in some of the following areas:

• System administration and system development of the aforementioned platforms,
• good knowledge of scripting, security configuration of the operating systems in the platforms,
• the Swedish Armed Forces and FMV's regulations and processes, e.g., ISM, KSF, ISD,
• experience or ambition to work with technical information security, and
• writing technical documentation in English and Swedish.

You are confident in presenting and explaining technical solutions. You enjoy working in teams and collaborating with others. Handling new questions and environments is a natural part of the job, and you choose simple and effective solutions with a holistic approach in focus. You are open to trying new technology areas and want to develop both personally and professionally. You act with good collaboration skills and an empathetic approach.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security clearance, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
