Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic (RPR) in Vadstena

RPR is a highly specialized facility with a complex and socially important mission. The clinic has county-wide, regional, and national assignments and is responsible for inpatient care of mentally disturbed offenders and for compulsory care of mentally ill patients from the criminal justice system, detention centers, and psychiatric units. RPR provides highly specialized forensic psychiatric inpatient care with staff who have a broad competence profile. Many of RPR's efforts are carried out in collaboration with other care and community actors, such as courts, correctional services, police, municipalities, and care partners within the regions. RPR has over 200 employees and currently 90 inpatient care places. Within the clinic, there are seven care units, outpatient care, employment, investigation, and administration.

Job Description

As an IT administrator with us, you will play a key role in ensuring that the clinic's IT environment operates safely, stably, and efficiently – something that is crucial for both patient safety and the daily operations of the organization.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support and service to staff at the clinic.
  • Managing, troubleshooting, and following up on incoming IT issues.
  • Installing and configuring computers, phones, software, and IT equipment.
  • Working in the region's IT systems and contributing to the adherence of routines and processes.
  • Collaborating closely with both local operational representatives and the region's central IT functions.
  • Participating in development work related to digitization, security, and improved working methods.
  • Supporting the organization in IT matters concerning confidentiality, permissions, and log management.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • IT education or equivalent competence gained through experience in IT support and technical troubleshooting.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and client management.
  • Understanding of IT security and basic networking skills.
  • Experience with issue tracking systems is an advantage.
