About the job

You will be part of one of our agile delivery teams that is part of the product area for maritime and aviation. The teams consist of system developers, requirements analysts, product specialists, scrum masters, testers, UX designers, and product owners. Together, we are responsible for transforming the business needs into solutions that facilitate daily work and are sustainable over time.

We are in an expansive phase where you will encounter several exciting development initiatives originating from legislation at both national and international levels. This may include both management and new development of internal and external IT systems with various integrations, payment solutions, and security solutions. You will be part of a competency network with the opportunity to develop your and others' skills and act in various responsible roles, e.g., Lead.

You will

  • be part of one of our agile teams
  • develop new effective, smart, and sustainable solutions

You must have

  • a university degree in IT or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way
  • several years of work experience in system development
  • several years of work experience in C#/.NET and SQL
  • work experience in web development/frontend development
  • very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
  • good knowledge of English in both speech and writing.

It is advantageous if you also have experience in

  • ASP.NET Core
  • Angular or similar framework
  • Blazor
  • automated build and release management in Azure DevOps
  • UX

More information

The employment is permanent with placement in Norrköping. Start date according to agreement.

We normally apply a probationary period. As an employee with us, there is an opportunity to work remotely up to three days a week. The needs of the business and the nature of the tasks will determine whether and to what extent this is possible. Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.

About Transportstyrelsen

Number of employees: Approximately 2000.

Areas of operation: Transportstyrelsen works to achieve good accessibility, high quality, safe, and environmentally friendly transport within rail, aviation, shipping, and road. We develop regulations, grant permits, and monitor compliance. With the help of our registers, we work with fees, permits, and ownership transfers.

Locations: We have employees in 12 locations across the country. The majority of the operations are in Borlänge, Norrköping, and Örebro. The head office is located in Norrköping.

About the IT department

The IT department consists of five units with associated sections. We are about 300 employees.

We support all departments within Transportstyrelsen both strategically and operationally in IT matters. We work with architecture, system development, management, and operation of IT systems as well as infrastructure.
