ABOUT THE POSITION:

Our client is a large government agency based in Norrköping. They have over 6000 employees, and the development department consists of 450 people divided into three sections and 20 development teams.

We are now looking for a technical project manager for local projects, including IT infrastructure, networks, and security systems. In this role, you will be responsible for operational technical project management of IT-related deliveries in connection with new or renovation of properties or major adaptations of existing premises. You will belong to a team with several other project managers where you will support each other and consult with experts in various technical areas to ensure quality delivery according to established project management methodology.

Your tasks include, among others:

  • Identifying the IT infrastructure needs of property projects
  • Being the project manager's contact point regarding IT
  • Needs analysis, ordering, coordinating, and ensuring IT infrastructure deliveries
  • Coordinating and having daily contact with internal and external suppliers
  • Preparing technical documentation, plans, and decision materials
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
  • Has a relevant post-secondary education for the position, such as information technology or similar
  • Has at least two years of work experience in technical project management
  • Has work experience in IT infrastructure, networks, and security systems, preferably within property projects
  • Has fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work

We consider it an advantage if you have experience from a similar position in a municipality and/or government agency and if you hold valid certification in project management methodology.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

Swedish citizenship is required, and a security check with a background check will be conducted before employment.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will initially be employed by Friday. The intention thereafter is that after 6 months you will be permanently employed by the client.
