Test Developer!!

Do you want to work closely with real products, advanced systems, and cutting-edge technology? Are you a test developer – or a developer with a strong interest in testing – who wants to take a more central role in the quality assurance of complex systems?

At Labatus, we are now looking for more test developers with experience in embedded systems, test automation, and system-level development. With us, you will work on sharp product development projects – often in technology-intensive environments where quality, safety, and robustness are critical.

Working with Test Development at Labatus

As a test developer at Labatus, you will work on assignments where you are a key person in ensuring functionality, stability, and quality in advanced products and systems. Depending on the assignment, you may work with:

Development of automated tests (e.g., HIL, integration, or system tests)
Analysis and troubleshooting of test results
Development and improvement of test systems and test environments
Test strategy and methodology development
Closer collaboration with development teams in embedded and software
CI/CD and continuous quality assurance

Many of our assignments are product-focused and involve embedded systems, real-time systems, and communication between hardware and software.

Since many of our partners where assignments are relevant operate in areas requiring security clearance, such as the defense industry, security clearance may be required during the recruitment process.

Technology and Tools

We match you to assignments where your competence makes a difference. Common technologies and environments include:

C / C++
Python
Test automation and test frameworks
HIL environments
CAN, communication protocols, and system integration
CI/CD pipelines

Experience with, for example, CAPL, Vector tools, or similar test systems is an asset – but most important is your understanding of systems, quality, and structure.

Who We Think You Are

We are looking for someone who:

Has at least 1-2 years of experience in test development or software development
Has worked with automated tests
Is used to working in a structured and methodical way
Has a genuine interest in embedded systems and technical problem solving
Thrives in teams and enjoys close collaboration with developers
Communicates fluently in Swedish and English

You don't need to know everything – but you should be confident in your technical foundation and willing to continue developing.
