We are now looking for two software developers for a qualified consulting assignment in a technically advanced environment focusing on forensics and development. The assignment is carried out in a specialized group where software development is combined with method development and analysis in a security-classified context.

This is an opportunity to work with solutions that place high demands on code quality, structure, and technical depth – in an environment where ready-made cloud services are not always an option and where robust, testable, and sustainable code is crucial.

About the assignments

We are looking for:

• 1 junior/mid software developer (0–3 years of experience) –
• 1 mid/senior software developer (1–8 years of experience) –

Both roles involve working with software development in an environment with high demands on security, quality, and technical independence.

Role 1 – Software Developer (Jr-Mid)

You will work closely with the team to design and develop software, primarily in Python. The work includes both structured development and exploratory elements such as feasibility studies and prototype development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software in Python with a focus on readability, testability, and sustainable architecture.
• Participate in feasibility studies and develop prototypes in environments without access to ready-made cloud solutions.
• Contribute to code structure, documentation, and version control.

Must-have requirements

• 0–3 years of experience.
• Academic degree in engineering or computer science.
• Theoretical or practical knowledge in programming, Python, and AI/ML.
• Basic understanding of version control with Git.
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Role 2 – Software Developer (Mid-Sr)

In this role, you are expected to take greater technical responsibility within the group. You will work both operationally and in a guiding capacity with code, build environments, and method development.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for build environments and dependency management in a security-classified environment.
• Design, set up, and maintain CI/CD flows and test automation.
• Lead the group in matters concerning code quality and technical practices.
• Develop methods and solutions for analyzing images, sound, and video.
• Act as a technical mentor and contribute to structured technical development.

Must-have requirements

• 1–8 years of experience.
• Academic degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent knowledge through qualified and long-term work experience.
• Several years of documented experience in advanced programming (preferably Python) and Git.
• Solid experience in designing and managing build environments, CI/CD, and test automation.
• Experience in mentorship or technical change management.
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
