Role Description

We are looking for an experienced performance tester for an ongoing development project. The assignment involves close collaboration with the testing function, RET, and relevant development teams, combining operational testing work with long-term development of methods and structures for performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute system-wide performance tests
• Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks and risks, and propose improvements
• Support development teams in local performance testing and working methods in agile environments
• Contribute to establishing and further developing a unified and scalable model/framework for performance testing
• Ensure visualization of performance data through dashboards and reports
• Participate in defining non-functional requirements (e.g., response times, capacity, robustness)
• At a later stage: participate in the work of the RET team

Requirements

• At least 5 years of documented experience in performance testing in complex system environments
• Experience in planning and executing system-wide performance tests
• Experience in analyzing and interpreting performance data
• Experience working closely with development teams in agile environments
• Experience with Locust for performance testing
• Experience in producing reports and recommendations based on test results
• Experience in observability/monitoring (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus)

Preferred Qualifications

• More than 5 years of experience in performance testing
• At least 3 years of experience with MongoDB
• Experience from business-critical and/or high-transaction systems
• Experience in cloud-based environments (e.g., Kubernetes and container platforms)
• Experience in establishing performance strategy and/or frameworks
• Experience from regulated industries
