Mabema was founded in 2002 and is Sweden's leading supplier of vision systems. With cameras, lasers, and image processing both with and without AI, we inspect, control, measure, and locate components manufactured in factories. We have over 700 installed systems that together take over 300 million images daily. Our customers are often global leaders in the manufacturing industry or their suppliers in sectors such as automotive, workshop, pharmaceuticals, forestry, food, and ammunition.

About the role

Our business area AMMO focuses on the development and manufacturing of inspection machines for ammunition production, where the product "InSpec" is one of our most innovative and successful solutions.

As a developer at Mabema, you will play a crucial role in the development of software and image processing algorithms for our inspection machines within the AMMO business area. Together with our product manager and others in the development team, you will drive the development of advanced image processing systems, where AI algorithms are expected to become an increasingly important component.

You should be a problem solver with analytical skills and have experience in planning and executing complex projects, both independently and in teams.

Main responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software in C# for inspection machines.
• Develop and optimize image processing algorithms for machines within AMMO.
• Explore and implement AI algorithms to solve complex image processing problems.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure quality and functionality in the software.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of software solutions.
• Contribute to the team's joint planning and execution of projects.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of programming experience. We primarily program in C#.
• Experience in image processing and/or vision systems is highly desirable.
• Knowledge in AI, especially for image processing, is a plus.
• M.Sc. in computer science, engineering physics, or similar.
• Good ability to plan and organize both your own work and joint team tasks.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English.
• Problem-solving and analytical with a structured approach to work.
