About us
The Common Infrastructure unit is responsible for maintaining operations in various areas and developing and managing general technical infrastructure. We have system ownership for LFV's administrative system areas, IT infrastructure, and buildings with associated supply systems.
Job Responsibilities
As a system administrator within the business applications group, you will work with management and have IT technical responsibility for several of LFV's administrative business systems. Your internal contacts consist of system owners who have overall responsibility for the system along with budget responsibility, requirements from the business and environment, legal requirements, etc., as well as system developers and users of the systems and colleagues both within and outside your own group.
The work involves:
- Participation in the development, planning, and analysis of management activities.
- Execution and follow-up of planned activities.
- Close dialogue with System Owners to plan and execute current and upcoming needs.
- Handling urgent problems and operational disturbances.
- External contact with system suppliers and operationally responsible subcontractors.
The operations are spread across several locations, which may involve some travel.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in IT, for example as a system scientist, or you have acquired equivalent competence through relevant work experience. You have a solid technical foundation and thrive in a role where you combine technology, business understanding, and collaboration.
You have good experience in system administration in both Windows and Linux environments, as well as a broad IT competence. Working with support and problem-solving, including dialogue with suppliers, is a natural part of your daily routine. You also have experience in management work within administrative IT systems and are used to working systematically with development, improvement, and long-term system management.
It is an advantage if you have knowledge of SQL and various databases. If you also have experience from government or municipal operations, we see it as a plus, as well as experience and understanding of IT security issues. We also value if you have worked with feasibility studies and needs analyses, are confident in requirement specification and verification of requirements, and have experience or understanding of ERP systems.
As a person, you have a strong interest in IT and a good understanding of the interplay between people, organizations, and technology. You are analytical, solution-oriented, and have the ability to translate the needs of the business into technical solutions. You express yourself clearly and professionally in both spoken and written Swedish and English and thrive in a role where communication and collaboration are an important part of the work.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Additional Information
The position is a permanent employment with the workplace located in Norrköping. There is an opportunity for flexibility regarding work at the office and remotely.
Before employment, LFV conducts a security review that includes a background check, security interview, and drug test. This position requires Swedish citizenship.
