We are currently seeking a Tacton CPQ Specialist for our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy sector, for an assignment at their site in Finspång. Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the current and future needs of the market. Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment with many development opportunities. This is initially a consulting assignment for 12 months via Unik Resurs, with a very good chance of extension. We apply continuous selection, which means that the assignment may be filled before the application deadline.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will work with one of the organization's most business-critical systems, Tacton CPQ, which is used globally to manage complex product configuration, pricing, and quote generation. You will be responsible for further developing and optimizing configuration models, ensuring robust and sustainable business logic, and driving structure and quality in how the CPQ platform is used and developed over time. The work is carried out in close collaboration with IT developers, Tacton modelers, engineering, sales organization, R&D, finance, management, and external consultants in an international environment. The role combines technical depth with requirements management and development of working methods, and is suitable for you who want to take operational responsibility while having the opportunity to influence structure and future direction in the area.

Make a Difference

• Gather, analyze, and structure business requirements related to product configuration and the quoting process.
• Design and develop complex product configuration models in Tacton CPQ.
• Ensure quality, robustness, and scalability in configuration logic and model structure.
• Drive requirements and development work in agile projects together with cross-functional teams.
• Lead and structure the work around “way of working” within CPQ – documentation, methodology, and knowledge sharing.
• Test and validate solutions to ensure correctness and business value.
• Support the sales organization with technical expertise related to quoting and change management.
• Participate in the evaluation and possible implementation of Tacton Analytics.

Your Profile

You are an experienced CPQ specialist with solid technical expertise and a natural ability to collaborate and communicate with various stakeholders. You thrive in a role where you work both independently and together with global, cross-functional teams, where you drive modeling issues, develop and implement structured working methods, and create clarity in requirements and solutions. As a person, you are analytical and solution-oriented with the ability to translate business needs into robust and sustainable technical solutions. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility, and have an easy time prioritizing and delivering quality within given time frames in a dynamic development environment.

Requirements

• Academic degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience working with the Tacton CPQ platform.
• Very good communication skills in Swedish and English.
• Documented ability to work independently, drive issues, structure requirements, lead discussions, and advance modeling work with limited guidance.
• Experienced in working in agile, cross-functional teams with engineering, sales, IT developers, external consultants, and management.
• Solid experience with CPQ systems, with particular expertise in Tacton modeling.

Meritorious

• Certification in Tacton CPQ or similar configuration tools.
• Deep understanding of integration between ERP systems and CPQ architecture.
• Good knowledge of object type hierarchies and advanced concepts within TCStudio.
• Experience in modeling with attributes, features, constraints, and advanced logic.
• Programming knowledge to support the development of cost visualization in Excel output is a plus.
