The Joint Management Administration consists of the areas of Democracy & Service, Economy & Procurement, Working Life & Digital Technology, Strategic Urban Planning, Emergency Services & Safety, and the staff.

The administration's mission is to lead, support, and coordinate the entire municipal organization on behalf of the municipal council. This is done by focusing on the customer's needs and having a holistic view and common working methods. We are a learning organization that promotes innovation and learning from both the environment and each other.

The IT unit is placed under the Joint Management Administration among other supportive and governing functions that coordinate the entire municipal organization on behalf of the municipal council. The IT unit consists of about 30 employees divided into three groups: Service and Support, Technical Platform, and Development. We are currently in an expansive phase where the importance of good collaboration between IT and operations is a prerequisite for the development and digitalization of services and municipal services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for someone who wants to take an active role in developing and managing the municipality's IT services related to printers and telephony. You will be a key person in a growing team focused on high service, quality, and user benefit.

Motala municipality is in the process of building a team responsible for user-friendly IT services. As the service manager for the areas of printers and telephony, you will combine operational and tactical/strategic work. You will be responsible for managing, developing, and improving these services in close collaboration with other colleagues in the IT unit, suppliers, and the municipality's operations.

You enjoy working independently and taking responsibility, but you also see collaboration as a natural way to achieve better results.

Your main responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for printers and telephony, developing and managing the services with a focus on user experience, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Tactical/strategic partner to the operations, engaging in dialogue with various parts of the organization to understand needs and provide technical advice within the area of responsibility that supports the operational goals.
• Drive improvement work, identify and implement improvements, including planning and executing cyclical replacements.
• Supplier and contract responsibility, participate in procurements as a requirement owner, manage contracts, supplier relationships, and contribute to budget planning.
• Develop governing documents and processes, contribute to clear, effective, and secure working methods within the IT operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education in IT or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.
• Good knowledge of hardware and technology related to printers and telephony.
• Experience in supplier management, procurement, and contracting.
• Good communication skills in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
• The ability to work structured, independently, and responsibly.
• Driver's license B (required).

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in service development and working with IT service catalogs.
• Experience working at the interface between operations and IT.
• Knowledge of or experience working according to ITIL.
