Learning Unit is now looking for a Trainer/Informant

We are now looking for someone who finds it inspiring and enjoyable to teach and educate. Are you good at conveying information in an easily understandable way? Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge? Do you have an interest in digital tools?

The Learning Unit is part of the HR department and is responsible for learning in various formats for both internal and external target groups. The unit works in teams where we together use our strengths and different competencies in the best way. Together we provide the conditions for continuous learning. It should be easy to do the right thing.

About the position

In the role of Trainer/Informant, you will work with various types of training and information initiatives related to the trade of goods. The target group is primarily external companies, but there are also internal initiatives.

Your ability to convey knowledge is something we value highly, as well as having an interest in digital tools. You need to feel comfortable in both the digital and physical classroom. One of our most important tools is our learning platform. There we upload materials for all our trainings, whether they take place physically in classrooms or digitally. We offer courses/trainings both physically in classrooms, in webinars, and as self-study.

The role of Trainer/Informant includes, among other things:

  • Conduct distance education via webinars
  • Be a teaching support for self-study courses
  • Conduct courses physically in classrooms
  • Conduct information initiatives both individually and together with other authorities
  • Develop courses and other learning activities
  • Produce course materials such as film, text, audio, and exercises
  • Adapt content according to target group and channel
  • Stay updated in various subject areas
  • Keep course materials updated and accurate

The work is independent but requires close collaboration and frequent dialogue with others both locally and in other parts of the country. A significant part of the work is done digitally. You are self-driven and share your expertise while also learning from others. The assignments can be long-term but must sometimes be carried out under time pressure.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

  • High school education with basic eligibility and the Customs Agency's basic training with a focus on collection or equivalent
  • Or completed relevant vocational training (YH/KY) or at least 60 credits/90 ECTS in pedagogy, communication, social sciences, freight/logistics, law, economics, or other education that we assess as relevant for the position

Together with:

  • Relevant and suitable experience for the role in creating, planning, and conducting training initiatives, lectures, or workshops for adults
  • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing
  • Good ability to express yourself in English in speech and writing
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office
  • Driving license B

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Work experience in customs, logistics, or import/export-related activities that we assess as relevant for the position
  • Experience in teaching in various formats (e.g., distance, webinars, classroom)
  • Experience in uploading content and communicating via learning platforms
  • Worked with content production in various media (text, film)
  • Experience working remotely with colleagues in various locations

The employment is a permanent position and begins with a 6-month probationary period, and individual salary setting applies.

Start date: As soon as possible after agreement.

Depending on your background, training in customs handling may be relevant during the first months of employment, most of which will take place remotely.

Travel may occur in the position.
