Your Role
As a Controller at Lidl, you will be part of our dedicated Controlling team of 14 people. We compile and analyze financial data with the goal of optimizing processes and driving long-term profitability. By turning numbers into concrete insights, we create the conditions needed to make informed decisions and strengthen our market position. You will belong to our reporting team where you work independently with significant responsibility while collaborating closely with both team colleagues and other parts of the organization.
Your main tasks will include:
- Working with ongoing reporting, analysis, and quality assurance of the business's key performance indicators
- Actively participating in the monthly closing process to ensure high financial precision
- Coordinating and collecting CSR-related key figures for our CSR reporting and proactively following up on sustainability-related key figures
- Being responsible for managing our national task system and our process tool
- Updating and optimizing our standardized reports with a strong focus on technical solutions and increased process efficiency
You will report to the team leader for the reporting team.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who has completed a degree in finance from a university or college and has at least 1–2 years of relevant work experience. As a person, you are driven, structured, responsible, and have good analytical skills. Furthermore, we see that you:
- Are an experienced user of Excel or Google Sheets
- Enjoy streamlining and improving existing processes
- Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience with the Strategy system and Google Workspace
- Good knowledge of German
