Police Region North is the largest region in terms of area. The region consists of the four northernmost counties in Sweden and is organized into four police areas: Jämtland, Norrbotten, Västerbotten, and Västernorrland, which together are divided into 12 local police areas. Furthermore, there are three regional units: the operational unit, the intelligence unit, and the investigation unit, a regional office, an HR section, a communications group, and national departments represented in the region to support police operations.
We are now looking for an HR consultant on a temporary basis for our HR section in the north. We are looking for someone who wants to work in Luleå, Umeå, or Sundsvall.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to an important societal mission by recruiting employees to the Swedish Police Authority. The assignment involves independently driving parallel recruitment processes and acting as a consultative HR support to recruiting managers within your area of responsibility. With us, you play an important role in ensuring the quality of our recruitment processes and ensuring that regulations and administrative guidelines are followed. It is essential that we work together as a team to contribute to our common goals and ongoing development. If necessary, other tasks within the HR domain may occur.
Many parts of the work take place in digital environments, and you are expected to have the ability to adopt and use digital tools effectively.
Your main tasks are:
- To be a consultative support to the recruiting manager during the recruitment process
- To independently drive several parallel recruitment processes from requirement profile and advertising to selection, interviews, reference checks, and associated administration
- To handle administrative tasks such as archiving and the release of public documents
QUALIFICATIONS
This is an opportunity for you who have:
- Relevant post-secondary education, preferably in the HR field or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways that the employer deems relevant
- Experience working with recruitment
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
It is meritorious if you also have:
- Experience working with government recruitment based on merit and skill
- Experience independently and consultatively driving entire recruitment processes in collaboration with managers
- Experience in competency-based interview techniques
- Experience using psychological tests in recruitment
