Do you want to help reduce the environmental impact of aviation? This job might be right for you!

About the job

Transport is essential for goods and people to reach their destinations.

In the environmental section, we work to reduce the negative environmental impact caused by transport from aviation and shipping. In the role of expert, you will collaborate with other competent colleagues at the authority, engage in dialogue with other authorities, and communicate with relevant parties internationally.

Your work will largely involve specialist tasks related to reducing emissions of noise, as well as partially greenhouse gases, from aviation, but the tasks may vary as the environmental section works broadly with the environmental impact of shipping and aviation. The work may include representing Sweden at meetings with the aviation's international UN body ICAO, as well as within the EU.

Other issues within the section's or department's area of responsibility may also arise. The position includes travel, both domestically and internationally.
