Do you want to help strengthen our students' right to education? We are now looking for four engaged and analytically strong behavior scientists who want to work centrally, but in close collaboration with our schools, to develop and promote school attendance.

As a behavior scientist, you will be part of our central organization, but work operationally together with our primary schools. You will play a key role in the municipality's development work regarding school attendance and contribute to translating research and proven experience into concrete actions at the school level.

The position involves both strategic and practical work where you will be a qualified support to school management, student health, and school social teams.

Job Description

Your tasks include conducting in-depth surveys of absenteeism and underlying causes, following up, analyzing, and evaluating interventions at the individual, group, and organizational levels, supporting schools in routines, working methods, and strategies to strengthen school attendance, as well as collaborating with school social teams and other actors based on the student's needs.

We are looking for someone who:

• is an educated behavior scientist or has another relevant academic degree
• has experience working with children and youth, preferably within schools, social work, or student health
• has good analytical skills and easily sees patterns, needs, and possible measures
• is comfortable collaborating with many different professionals
• communicates clearly and can build trusting relationships
• enjoys working both independently and in a team

Meritorious

• experience in mapping and analysis related to school absenteeism
• experience in attendance-promoting or school social work
• knowledge of collaboration structures between schools, social services, and other support services

About the Position

The position is a project employment until 2026. Start date by agreement. The position will be filled subject to the approval of the sought state grant funding.
