Description

As a special educator, you will be part of the student health team (EHT) together with a counselor, school nurse, study and career counselor, and principal. You will work closely with teachers to develop the school's special educational competence and support students in need. Your work includes leading development projects, managing documentation such as educational investigations and action plans, and serving as an advisor on educational issues at various levels within the organization.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in your daily work.
• Has the tools needed to communicate effectively and build trust with students, guardians, and educators.
• Has a coaching approach and is structured and flexible.
• Works long-term, sets goals, tests, and evaluates together with colleagues.

Qualifications

A degree from a special education program is preferred. Experience teaching at the upper secondary level is preferred. Good knowledge of dyscalculia is preferred. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
