Welcome to us
Smedshagsskolan is a multicultural F-9 school with about 365 students and the vision “With us, everyone can reach their dream goals”.
The school is located in Hässelby Villastad and has a high socioeconomic index. The unit is single-parallel and teaching is conducted in a two-teacher system, which means that there are two teaching teachers as basic staffing. The teaching focuses on extra reading and language-developing working methods. The premises are modern and functional, and the school has a good IT standard. Smedshagsskolan is a staff-dense school led by a principal together with two assistant principals and an administrative manager.

Your role
- Qualified and certified teacher in textile handicrafts for grades 2–9.
- Have very good Swedish in both spoken and written form.
- You should have good collaboration skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to develop the operations and see opportunities.
- You should be both project-oriented and results-oriented, able to work independently and take your own initiatives.
- You should be able to capture and deepen students' interest in your subjects, have a strong interest in students' knowledge development, and see opportunities for development.
- You should enjoy meeting students and have a good ability to connect and create participation in the group.
- You should work language-developing and contribute to collegial learning.
