We envision you as an engaged and secure person who functions as a class resource/student resource at our adapted upper secondary school with national programs in Health, Care and Welfare, as well as Trade and Services.
With us, you will be part of a team with knowledgeable and committed colleagues who collaborate to create a safe, structured, and developing learning environment. Openness among colleagues is essential, and we share a common responsibility for all students to succeed.
About the Assignment
As a class resource/student resource, you will follow a grade or a first and second year within one of our programs and provide close and continuous support to students throughout the school day - in teaching, in social contexts, and in the daily life of the school. The assignment involves being a pedagogical and social resource throughout the school day and supporting students based on their individual needs.
From grades 2 to 4, students carry out workplace-based learning (APL) two days a week. You will then be an important support in the collaboration between school, student, and workplace, contributing to creating safety and continuity even in these learning environments.
Job Responsibilities
- Be a pedagogical and social resource in the classroom environment
- Support students based on their individual needs throughout the school day
- Create structure, safety, and study peace
- Support students in transitions between different moments and environments
- Contribute to students' participation, independence, and development
- Collaborate closely with teachers, student health, and other staff
- Participate in planning, implementation, and follow-up of APL as needed
Our Pedagogical Foundation
Our schools work with learning and development within common focus areas that fall under the headings of pedagogy, health, and community engagement. We develop what, according to science and proven experience, has a positive impact on learning, students' health, and their ability to engage with society.
We operate based on a strong value foundation focusing on equal value and community improvement. It is therefore important that you share our values and actively contribute to an inclusive and respectful climate.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience working with young people
- Good knowledge of intellectual disabilities (ID) and neuropsychiatric disorders (NPF) with an interest in further development.
Completed student assistant training or equivalent is an advantage, as is experience from schools or adapted school forms or equivalent activities.
In addition to education and experience, we place great importance on personal suitability, your engagement, your pedagogical ability, and your ability to create good relationships. You are calm, clear, and attentive in your interactions. You are curious and actively work to ensure that each student develops as far as possible based on their circumstances.
It is important to us that you are motivated to challenge yourself, your colleagues, and students in order to contribute to both your own and the organization's development.
We Offer
- A meaningful and developing job where you make a difference every day
- Close collaboration with engaged and competent colleagues
- An organization with clear structure, student focus, and shared responsibility
- A workplace where values and professional collaboration are central
Welcome with your application and become part of our adapted upper secondary school where every student is given the opportunity to succeed based on their circumstances.

In case of surplus within the Stadsmissionens School Foundation, the advertised position will primarily be offered to employees within the foundation.
The Stadsmissionens School Foundation is a non-profit organization that operates upper secondary education at Grillska Gymnasiet and Grillska's adapted upper secondary school, as well as adult education at Stadsmissionens Yrkeshögskola. With approximately 3,000 students and learners, we are one of Sweden's largest non-profit school operators.
Being non-profit primarily means that we are not driven by any other interests - our vision is a school for a more humane society. The schools are independent schools operated in foundation form, which means that there is no owner who takes out profits. Any surplus goes to the development of the organization.
Our schools work with learning and development within common focus areas. These areas fall under the three headings of pedagogy, health, and community engagement. We develop what, according to science and proven experience, has a positive impact on the learning situation, on the work for students' health, and for our students to be able to go out into the world with a strong community engagement.
The foundation's founder, Stockholm's City Mission, has been providing education since 1857, and we share the same fundamental, humane view of humanity and value foundation.
Through education, we can prevent exclusion and strengthen individuals' belief in themselves and their own abilities and work towards our vision of a school for a more humane society.
