As a teacher at Mellansjö School, you will work in a resource school context, where teaching takes place in small groups or individually, often with a high staff-to-student ratio. Our students have conditions such as autism, ADHD, and/or high school anxiety, which means that the teaching needs to be clearly structured, individualized, and flexible.

Here, the relationship with the student is a prerequisite for learning. You will work low-affectively, predictably, and with a strong focus on safety, motivation, and trust.

Your role includes:

• planning, implementing, and following up on mathematics instruction based on each student's conditions

• adapting teaching according to daily form, attendance, and needs

• working closely with student assistants, student health, and school management

• collaborating closely with guardians and other stakeholders around the student

• actively participating in teacher meetings, team meetings, and student health meetings

• contributing to the school's ongoing development together with colleagues

Mellansjö School is a resource school for grades 1–9, located in Täby Kyrkby, close to nature by Vallentunasjön. The school has approximately 80 students, divided into 8 classes/groups, and a staff group of just over 30 employees who work closely together.

We are looking for someone who is a licensed upper secondary school teacher in mathematics, preferably with experience or education in special education.

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience working with students with NPF

• knowledge of low-affective responses

• experience in resource schools or working with problematic school absenteeism
