About the role

As a vocational teacher with us, you will teach construction and civil engineering subjects, follow students' development, and work systematically with planning, assessments, and clear goals. You will conduct regular APL visits and also become a mentor for a group of students, playing a key role in creating security, motivation, and a conducive study environment.

The role also includes APL coordination responsibilities where you manage and administer APL placements, serve as a contact point for supervisors, and help ensure that students' internships run smoothly.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Vocational teacher degree/qualification in construction and civil engineering (required for permanent employment), or

• Solid experience from the construction and civil engineering industry and a desire to develop in the teaching role

Meritorious

• Experience in apprenticeship training or APL

• Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds

• Familiarity with collaborating with companies and workplaces
