Nya Enskede School

In the autumn term of 2026, a new primary school, Nya Enskede School, grades 7-9, will open in Enskede.

The school is located near Sockenplan with good transport links via both subway and buses. Nya Enskede School will move into newly renovated premises and will partially share facilities with Betty Pettersson's high school, such as a cafeteria, library, common areas, and well-equipped and modern special classrooms for subjects including science education.

A large part of the school's staff will come from Enskede School and Örbyskolan's high school, which will close when the new primary school opens. The staff group is characterized by high competence, great commitment, and a culture of collaboration. In the autumn term of 2026, the school will open with six parallel classes in grade 9, five parallel classes in grade 8, and seven parallel classes in grade 7, with the aim of having six parallel classes in all grades in the long term.

Your role

We are looking for you who want to become a teacher at Nya Enskede School and be responsible for planning, teaching, evaluating, and assessing in Mathematics and Science/Technology for grades 7-9. Shared mentorship for a class in high school may be included. You will be part of a working team and a subject team where you collaborate with colleagues and are an important part of the collegial learning to create new and deepened knowledge. Together, we create the best conditions for our students.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications in Mathematics and two or more science subjects (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) for grades 7-9. Qualifications in technology are an advantage.

• You should be well acquainted with the school's governing documents and mission.
• You should be a confident and clear leader who creates a good working climate.
• You involve the student in the planning and develop the student's ability to learn, both independently and together with others.
• You are accustomed to working with digital tools as a natural part of teaching.

You value and create good conditions for collaboration and establish good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are curious to learn new things and share your experiences with colleagues. You plan, organize, and prioritize your lesson structure as well as other tasks included in your role effectively.
