Aspnässkolan is a F–6 school with approximately 265 students, located in the center of Jakobsberg with close access to commuter trains and good communications. As a smaller unit, we have short decision-making paths and close cooperation between school management, staff, students, and guardians. Here, every student is everyone's responsibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of craft teacher, you will:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in wood and metal craft for students in lower and middle school.
• Create a safe, creative, and structured learning environment where students can develop both practical and aesthetic abilities.
• Work interdisciplinary with other teachers in the practical-aesthetic subjects to strengthen the whole in students' learning.
• Participate in collegial learning and contribute to the school's development work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a teaching license with qualifications in craft, specializing in wood and metal.
• Masters Swedish in speech and writing.
• Has experience teaching younger students and adapting instruction to their developmental level.
• Has experience in grading.

We also appreciate if you enjoy collaborating and see the value in working interdisciplinary. You are creative, secure in your professional role, and have the ability to create engagement and joy in learning among students.

The position is a part-time position of 50-60% with working hours spread throughout the week.
