Neptuniskolan is a two-parallel F-6 school, with an associated after-school program and club activities, beautifully located in southern Järfälla with proximity to nature and good transportation links. We are the small school "in the village", surrounded by parks in a residential area. We have high expectations of ourselves and our students and systematically work to develop our teaching in school and in the after-school program. With a solid focus on safety, we strive to create a safe and well-functioning school day.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a substitute for our parental leave teacher in the middle school during the school year 2026-2027, starting from the beginning of the school year in August 2026. You will be a mentor together with the parallel colleague in middle school and a teaching teacher in the subjects of mathematics, science, and technology in grades 4-6. You will document students' knowledge development according to our routines and adapt your teaching to suit the student groups you teach, for the best possible goal fulfillment.

As a mentor, you will follow up on students' knowledge development and conduct development conversations as well as handle social situations that may arise, thus contributing to a safe school. You will see that it is natural to work with the teacher's supervision duties, which means that you collaborate to ensure we have functioning transitions in cloakrooms and corridors or perform playground supervision duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have good subject knowledge and a toolbox to methodically reach a variety of students. Your relational ability is very good, and you can see and meet students' needs with knowledge, warmth, and clarity. The school works to create structure and clarity, and you are interested in contributing to and participating in this work.

As a colleague, you are communicative and care about how your colleagues are doing, are helpful, and also dare to ask when you need to in order to perform your work.
