Are you an inspiring and engaged person with excellent knowledge of Spanish? Do you have experience teaching adults and are you looking for a flexible and developmental part-time job?

We are currently looking for Spanish language instructors who want to work with tailored language education for our clients in Stockholm. At Upgrades, you will work on varied assignments and become part of our network of engaged language coaches. You work independently but always have our team as support.

About the assignment

As a language coach at Upgrades, you plan and conduct teaching based on the client's needs, level, and goals.

The work is assignment-based and varies depending on the course level, number of participants, and preferences regarding day, time, and location.

Our assignments usually last 10–20 weeks, with 1–2 lesson sessions per week, where each lesson is 60–90 minutes. We provide course materials as well as inspiration and support for lesson planning.

Teaching takes place on-site in Stockholm.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is confident in their role as a teacher and enjoys varied work where you independently plan and conduct teaching based on the participants' needs. You have good pedagogical skills and are motivated to help others develop their language skills.

Requirements

For this assignment, you need:

• Fluent knowledge of Spanish in both speaking and writing (equivalent to C2).
• Experience teaching adults Spanish.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish.
• Experience planning and conducting lessons.
• Experience using digital resources in teaching.
• Good knowledge of Swedish society.
• Intercultural competence and understanding of communication in international contexts.

Merits

It is a merit if you also have:

• Experience working with the CEFR scale.
• Education in pedagogy, didactics, or language teaching.
