We are now recruiting teachers who, together with an experienced JENSEN principal, will start what is to become Sigtuna's best primary school (grades F-9). At the start, the school will consist of approximately 300 students in grades F-7.

The school's goals are:

  • We will be the best school in the municipality.
  • Highest quality in teaching.
  • All students will succeed and reach their full potential.
  • Safety and study peace in every classroom.
  • Professional and committed leadership and staff.
  • Continuous development through courage, innovation, and focus on results.
  • The school should be the first choice for both students and staff.

JENSEN education is an educational company with operations in several different educational areas. Our primary schools achieve top results both nationally and locally in many important areas. Overall, our schools have better study peace than any other school principal can demonstrate. This is according to the Swedish Schools Inspectorate's national surveys for students, teachers, and guardians. Several of our schools also have some of the highest student results in their locality.

JENSEN primary school Steninge is now reaching out to ambitious teachers who aim high and enjoy working with like-minded individuals. In addition to our ability to attract ambitious teachers, a good implementation of our shared concept is an extremely important success factor.

At JENSEN primary school, we dare to promise that students learn more and are shaped into ambitious and responsible individuals. We dare to make these promises because we know that our concept and our methods yield results. In reality, we do not do much new. We work with traditional and well-proven teaching methods. Our teachers are clear authorities and strong classroom leaders. They work according to shared methods and have been given good conditions to ensure the highest quality in all situations.

Our expectations of you as a teacher

At JENSEN, we not only set high demands on our teachers. We also have high expectations/requirements for our students. At our schools, we never allow students to disrupt order in classrooms or safety in corridors. At our schools, we dare to get all students to aim higher. Students who have started at our schools often express that discipline is significantly higher, that the work is more intense, and that the amount of homework is greater. For many students, a transition from the old is required, but almost everyone quickly gets used to it, and almost everyone expresses that they learn more with us.

Are you a teacher who believes that Swedish schools can become much better?

Do you share our view that discipline in Swedish schools is generally too low?

Do you believe that Swedish students can handle as much homework as in other countries?

Are you attracted to working according to a common concept where all colleagues work with traditional methods that yield results?

Our teaching teams consist of individuals who share our views on the above questions. The teachers we are now looking for are those who are both ambitious and attracted to our concept and our shared methods.
