Enebybergs School is located in a quiet residential area in Enebyberg in Danderyd municipality. Approximately 600 students attend the school from preschool to grade 6, and about 80 people work here. Welcome to be part of us.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Together with your colleagues, you will collaborate to plan the teaching for a specific grade, in accordance with our governing documents. You will be responsible for leading the daily work in your class, both independently and in collaboration with other teachers.

Teaching in crafts takes place in small groups of 10-13 students in excellent facilities. The teaching hours are slightly higher than our other positions at the school, but you will not be a mentor or recess supervisor. You are expected to continuously evaluate and follow up on the teaching and adapt it to the individual needs of the students. This includes both students who need extra challenges and those who need additional support.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher with qualifications in wood and metal craft.
• Has experience with written assessments and grading.
• Is well-versed in the school's mission and governing documents.
• Has knowledge of inclusive and accessible learning environments.
• Has a very good ability to express themselves both verbally and in writing in Swedish.

We are looking for someone with great initiative who is confident in communicating and building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You plan and organize your work well, complete what you start, and meet deadlines. As a teacher, you have a clear interest in collegial learning, are unpretentious, and a natural leader in the classroom. Furthermore, you can work independently but also enjoy working in a team with colleagues and are collaborative. You are engaged and driven so that together we can become the absolute best school for our students. We place great importance on personal suitability.
