Eiraskolan is an inner-city school in eastern Kungsholmen for students from preschool class to grade 6.
The school has a good reputation, strong academic results, high safety, and a large number of applicants. Eiraskolan is "The School of Opportunities where everyone's equal value, knowledge, safety, and joy create conditions for learning".
Each grade has three parallel classes, and the work is carried out in teams. As a special teacher, you will be part of the support team's working group together with special educators, school nurses, teachers, and resource educators in the school's local special education group.

As a special teacher with special pedagogical competence, you will work closely with both students and colleagues, with ample opportunity to influence, develop, and think innovatively.

Your role
As a special teacher with special pedagogical competence, you will work both directly with students and in a guiding role with colleagues. You will contribute to developing the school's learning environments to meet the needs of all students.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
- Planning, implementing, and following up on special pedagogical interventions
- Mapping and analyzing students' support needs, such as assessments for special support and action plans
- Teaching students individually or in small groups
- Guiding and supporting teachers in additional adaptations and special support
- Participating in the student health team's work
- Contributing to the school's systematic quality work
Your qualifications and experience

You have good collaboration skills and can create good relationships as the work involves many points of contact with students, staff, and guardians.
We are looking for you who:
- Are a licensed teacher with a special education degree
- Have experience working with students in need of special support
- Have good knowledge of inclusive practices and differentiated instruction
- Have the ability to analyze learning environments and suggest development measures
- Have good collaboration skills and are confident in a guiding role
It is advantageous if you have:
- Special pedagogical competence
- Experience working in varied areas
- Competence in reading and writing development
- Competence in mathematics and difficulties in mathematics
- Experience with LegiLexi, Magma, Bravkod, LexiaProvia
- Experience with digital tools as support in teaching
