Job Description

Kungsholmen Primary School is a grades 1–9 school with approximately 1,200 students, covering primary education, adapted primary education, school health services, after-school care, and leisure clubs.

The teaching teams are divided into grades 1–3, 4–6, and 7–9. The school leadership consists of the principal, deputy principals, and an administrative director.

To ensure that every student, regardless of their starting point, develops and reaches as far as possible in their learning, knowledge, learning, and safety are crucial for success. We place great emphasis on safety and student health work.

Qualifications

We are currently seeking a licensed teacher qualified in Home and Consumer Studies and Crafts.

We are looking for a skilled teacher who can contribute to developing our operations in line with the school's governing documents and vision. In your role as a teacher, you will be responsible for pedagogical planning and implementation of teaching, as well as evaluation and follow-up of school activities. This means you need to be well-versed in the curriculum and other governing documents.

You have a reflective and scientific approach to your own teaching and are open to sharing your knowledge. You possess solid subject knowledge and experience with collaborative working methods, are well-versed in formative assessment, and have good digital competence.

You are flexible, willing to collaborate, and proactive, always focusing on the student's learning development. You actively contribute to creating a safe, trusting, and developmental learning environment. You are a motivating teacher and a good role model in your role as a pedagogical leader.

You are accustomed to making adaptations for students, both for guidance and stimulation, and contribute to collaborative thoughts on lesson design and relevant reflections so that our students can become the best they can be. You have excellent collaboration skills with a high degree of flexibility and solution focus.

We expect you to be able to motivate your students to reach higher goals and to have a professional approach in your contact with guardians, colleagues, and students. Since the role involves written documentation and oral communication, it is a requirement that you express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish.
