We are looking for someone who wants to make a real difference by helping people develop their language skills – whether they are beginners or already well on their way.

At Upgrades, you will become part of an engaged team of language coaches, where you have the freedom to plan your work while always having support at your back.

About the role

As a language coach, you will work with both private individuals and corporate groups in Greater Stockholm. You plan the teaching yourself based on the participants' goals and level – making every assignment varied and developmental.

Here is what an assignment might look like:

• 1–2 sessions per week
• 90 minutes per session
• Assignments lasting 10–20 weeks
• Teaching on-site at the client's location or by agreement

We provide course materials and give you inspiration for lesson plans – but you have great freedom to put your own stamp on it.

Who we think you are:

You like to work independently and enjoy motivating others – you are passionate about language and people.

• Engaged and flexible
• Pedagogical and communicative
• Structured but also creative
• Attentive to the needs of different individuals

We would like you to:

• Have fluent knowledge of Swedish (including grammar)
• Be able to communicate in English
• Have experience in teaching or mentoring
• Have planned lessons previously
• Have the possibility to take on at least two assignments
• Be able to teach on-site in Greater Stockholm

Extra plus if you also have:

• Knowledge of German
• Experience from working life in companies/organizations
• Knowledge of CEFR
• Pedagogical education
• Experience with online teaching
