At the Education Administration in Järfälla Municipality, approximately 3,100 employees work in one of our 39 preschools, 22 schools, gymnasiums, adult education, and central administration. Ålsta preschool and primary school is located in the expanding Barkarbystaden. At the beginning of the 23/24 school year, we moved into our newly built preschool/school. The preschool has been in existence since 2013 and has 215 children divided into 6 groups. Each group has a small children's department and a large children's department that collaborate with each other. The school section started in the autumn of 2020 and is continuously being expanded. The preschool and school share facilities and have a collaboration where we strive for a red thread from 1-year-olds to students in middle school. In our preschool/school, we have a kitchen with a chef. We have close leadership from the principal and vice principal who work together with the educators towards ambitious goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for both full-time monthly employed substitutes (employment period from 1/4 to 30/6-2026) and part-time hourly employed substitutes (employment period is flexible between 1/3 to 31/12-2026).

As a substitute on our preschool, you will be asked to work when needed, supporting during illness and absence of regular staff. In addition, there may be needs during, for example, longer leave periods.

As a monthly employed substitute, you will plan and implement work together with the team in a way that promotes the children's development, health, and well-being.

Your mission means that you should meet all children with respect for their person and give each child the conditions to develop trust and self-confidence. Everyone working in preschool should show respect for the individual and contribute to creating a democratic climate. You should collaborate with the home and create trusting relationships with both parents and colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A requirement is that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• We would like you to have experience in similar work.
• You should be flexible, proactive, and have an easy time collaborating and interacting with children, colleagues, and guardians in a responsive and smooth manner, communicate and handle conflicts constructively.
• You easily adapt to changing circumstances. Can quickly change your perspective and approach.
• You are positive, responsible, and engaged.
• Remain calm and controlled in stressful situations. Keep a realistic perspective on situations and focus on the right things.
• We take great consideration of personal suitability for the work as a substitute.
• We will interview and hire continuously, and positions may be filled before the advertisement has been published.

Meritorious:

You are an educated and experienced childcare worker. You have experience working with children with NPF diagnoses.
