About the position

We at Olivia are looking for 3 assistants who want to work as substitutes for our client in Åkersberga. As a substitute, you will work during the absence of regular assistants due to vacation or illness. During the summer of 2026, there are good chances to work more shifts. We are looking for someone who can work flexible hours on weekdays as well as weekends.

The working hours are varied on weekdays and weekends:

• 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM

• 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM

• 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM

• 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM Awake night

Start date is according to agreement, and we would like you to be able to begin training immediately.

About the client

The client is a woman in her 60s with interests in walking, quizzes, and music. The client needs your help as an assistant in her daily life due to a stroke. There are aids in the home, such as an electric wheelchair, lift, and shower chair.

The tasks are as follows:

• Support with daily routines and household chores.

• Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals.

• Practical support in daily activities.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and has a genuine ability to put others' needs at the center. You are a warm and empathetic person with good social awareness, who sees and acknowledges the individual behind each situation. At the same time, you are solution-focused and proactive – you take responsibility, see what needs to be done, and act with confidence and care. Of course, you are also reliable and someone that can be trusted in everyday life.

The client appreciates doing activities together with her assistant. Therefore, it is nice if you share the joy of doing things together and contribute positive energy.

There is also a cat in the home, so it is important that you are not allergic.

Requirements:

• Experience working as a personal assistant or in care and support.

• Must not be allergic to pets; a cat is present in the home.

• Ability to work during the summer of 2026.

• Work varied hours on weekdays and weekends.

Meritorious:

• Driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.

• Experience with stroke.

Employment rate: 3 substitutes as needed. With good chances for part-time 55% during the summer of 2026.

Start date: Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
