Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who fits the following:

• Wants to work with a 72-year-old man living in Farsta Strand

• Has good knowledge of Polish and Swedish

• Has experience in caregiving or personal assistance, preferably in more complex and care-intensive assignments

• Has good physical condition, as the job involves transfers and heavy lifting

It is also an advantage if you:

• Are a trained nursing assistant or have other relevant healthcare education

  Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The positions are for summer temporary work during the period from June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026, with the possibility to start training or work as a substitute before the summer period begins.

The employment rate is approximately 75–100%

The working hours are scheduled according to a rolling schedule and may include day, evening, or night shifts, both weekdays and weekends.

Night shifts

• From 21:00 to 07:00 or 22:00 to 08:00

• Each night shift includes 3 hours of on-call duty

Day shifts

• From 07:00 to 14:00 or 08:00 to 15:00

Evening shifts

• From 14:00 to 21:00 or 15:00 to 22:00

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with the collective agreement.

Start date according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
