Folkuniversitetet in Stockholm is looking for teachers in Swedish as a foreign language/second language

We are looking for someone with experience or an interest in teaching adults Swedish as a foreign language/second language. You have Swedish as your native language or equivalent competence, and we would like you to have studied/studying Swedish as a second language and pedagogy at university/college.

Our courses start year-round, and we are primarily looking for teachers for our evening courses.

The evening courses run Mon+Wed or Tue+Thu from 18:00-20:15 and last for five weeks. We also have courses on Saturdays from 10:00-13:30.

In our courses, students from all over the world study, and we have groups at different levels from beginner (A1) to advanced level (C1). Our participants are generally well-educated and highly motivated, and we maintain a fast pace with a focus on oral communication.

All courses have clear syllabi and established course literature. New teachers receive support from a mentor, and we offer continuous professional development.

Since we work with web support in our courses, we prefer that you have knowledge of and experience with digital tools.

Employment type: part-time contract
