Furuborgskolan is the municipality's youngest school and includes grades F-6 and adapted primary school. The school has over 350 wonderful students and a dedicated and competent staff. Teacher for Leisure Center

We are now looking for a teacher for the leisure center at Furuborgskolan with a burning interest in leisure pedagogy and active breaks based on movement, democratic values, and language development.

With us, you will have the chance to help develop our work with active breaks and structured leisure activities in combination with free play in line with the leisure center's goals in the curriculum.

As a teacher for the leisure center with us, you have a responsibility to drive the systematic development of our teaching in the leisure center. You plan and follow up on activities both during leisure time and during school breaks. We work from a holistic perspective where you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for ensuring that students develop creativity, interaction, and the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice.

We are looking for someone who:

• Drives systematic quality work: You have experience in planning, documenting, and evaluating teaching in the leisure center in a structured manner.
• Works relationally and compensatorily: You see it as your primary task to adapt the learning environment so that all students, regardless of their circumstances, can succeed and feel included.
• Strengthens the student's voice: You want to actively drive the work of strengthening students' democratic competence and influence in everyday life.
• Has a language development focus: You are experienced in conducting language-enhancing teaching and see the leisure center as an arena for communication.
• Is a team player: You have a good ability to collaborate with teachers, student health, and other professionals to create a safe and stimulating school day.

Nykvarn Municipality is a Finnish administrative area, and we see it as an advantage if you speak Finnish.

We require you to present a criminal record extract before employment.

We are looking for someone who is educated, experienced, and a certified primary teacher for the leisure center. It is important that you have good pedagogical knowledge and the ability to create engagement and joy at work. In your role as a teacher in the leisure center, you are structured and engaged, and you want to develop your work; you have good communication skills, take initiative, and meet the child with respect for the knowledge the child possesses.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and good collaboration skills. Together, we create sustainable working methods and results. You use a low-arousal approach and can meet a wide range of needs among your students. As a person, you are engaged, student-focused, and see solutions where others see obstacles. In contact with guardians, you are professional and trustworthy. You find the balance between being energetic and joyful while also being able to work with structure and clear boundaries.
