The opportunity may be closer than you think. We at Toyota are looking for a Test Developer for our R&D department where we work directly and closely with our connected products and our customers, and where automation in various forms is also playing an increasingly important role.
As a Test Developer at Toyota, you will work with:
- Development of automated HIL tests
- Analysis of test results
- Specification and development of new Test Systems
- Deployment and maintenance of HIL Test Systems
You will be a member of the team that develops Embedded software for one of our largest and most important product segments. Your main responsibility is to develop and maintain the automated test suites that ensure the quality of the team's deliveries. The tests are developed in CAPL and are currently run on HIL systems from Vector. The role involves very close collaboration with the developers in your own team, as well as other testers, functions, and teams in R&D. Contacts and collaborations with our international sister departments may also be relevant. Among the tasks is also contributing to the further development of both test systems and methodologies.
For the position of Test Developer, we are looking for someone who has/is:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field
- Experience with C/C++ and/or Python; experience with CAPL and Vector's VTSystem and/or CANoe is an advantage
- A strong interest and experience in testing and test automation
- An interest in embedded systems and embedded software
- Good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Swedish is an advantage
