Your Role

We are now looking for an experienced project manager in the area of Electronic Warfare Gripen C/D who wants to drive the development and integration of future electronic warfare systems.

As a project manager, you will have overall responsibility for leading complex technology and IT projects related to the upgrade of the electronic warfare system in Gripen C/D. You will work in a technically advanced and dynamic environment where structure, clarity, and decisiveness are crucial for success.

You will lead cross-functional teams and create a common direction by clarifying goals, roles, and expectations. You will be responsible for identifying and managing risks, driving change initiatives, and making well-informed decisions even when conditions change rapidly.

The role includes, among other things:

• Driving complex technology and IT projects - from planning to implementation and follow-up
• Leading cross-functional teams and ensuring clear communication and collaboration
• Identifying risks and managing changes in a dynamic environment
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

Your Profile

We are looking for a project manager with strong drive and commitment. You are social, communicative, and understand the importance of good collaboration where you create trust and clarity at all levels, both internally and with customers. You find it easy to establish, maintain, and manage contacts with various people.

Furthermore, you are efficient and structured, with a strong ability to prioritize, analyze, and act from a holistic perspective. At the same time, you have the ability to dive into details when the situation requires it. You have a good ability to handle parallel tasks and work effectively even under pressure.

We would like you to have:

• Several years of experience leading technology or IT projects with many stakeholders
• A good understanding of system development, requirements work, and integration in complex systems
• Experience in risk and change management, budget and scheduling

Meriting for the role is:

• Experience from aviation, defense, automotive, or other safety-critical environments
• Relevant academic background, preferably in systems engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, there may be requirements for certain citizenship.
