Cambio is one of the Nordics' leading suppliers in e-health with a comprehensive offering for the entire health and care chain. Our e-health solutions support health care professionals in their daily work and offer patients safer and more easily accessible care. We are proud to be an important part of Swedish healthcare. We are growing continuously and now have about 1000 employees in several countries.
The position
Cambio is the creator of the largest electronic health record (EHR) in Sweden with our product Cosmic. It is in use in the vast majority of Sweden's regions and comes in two different forms. Among other ways, it's provided as a service (SaaS) to some of our customers. We are now looking for a System Engineer who wants to join our IT infrastructure and Operations team, being part of deploying and improving the infrastructure that is used by Cosmic. This is a critical component for many of the regions in Sweden and you'll be a part in supporting our healthcare customer’s important work.
As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for server management of the technical infrastructure that supports our products and services. As part of the server management function, you will work closely with other functions within IT Infrastructure and Operations, to ensure that all servers are well maintained in line with strategy and well-coordinated with activities such as the deployment of new services or upgrades. You will work with both Windows and Linux servers.
You will also:
Active Directory, and other critical components.
Work with automation using Ansible and scripting.
Ensure that servers and applications run smoothly and are up to date.
Perform version upgrades and security updates.
Communicate with vendors and manage licenses for applications.
Participate in strategic planning and operational work related to patching and maintenance.
We offer:
Be part of an evolving technology landscape - You will join us on a journey towards a more modern and flexible infrastructure setup. The focus is on continuous improvement, standardisation and moving towards more scalable and futureproof solutions.
Focus on automation and smart operations - We are looking to reduce manual work and increase efficiency through automation and scripting. You will have the opportunity to improve existing processes and help build more reliable and maintainable operational workflows.
A modern platform and container technologies - As part of our ongoing development, you will be involved in initiatives related to modern application platforms and container technologies. This role offers a solid foundation for growing within platform, infrastructure or cloud engineering.
Strong learning and development opportunities - You will have access to continuous learning through training, knowledge sharing and hands-on experience. As the technical environment evolves, there are clear opportunities to develop both your technical skills and your professional profile.
You are an experienced system engineer with a strong technical foundation and an ability to take ownership of complex projects. You thrive on both hands-on work and strategic planning, leveraging your expertise to manage and deploy scalable, secure, and reliable systems.
Your background includes extensive experience in managing different platforms and operating systems. You have a proactive mindset, are highly organized, and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Above all, you are driven to solve problems and deliver impactful results.
At Cambio, we value initiative and personal growth. Our culture is built on Trust, Care, and Together—values we believe are important to both our work and our people. It’s important to us that you recognize and identify with these values.

Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting.
Experience working with Microsoft Azure, including security and identity services such as Azure Arc, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Entra.

Experience working with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift.
Experience using a CMDB as a central source for managing and tracking changes in IT environments.
