Object Manager for Microsoft 365

The Municipal Executive Administration is one of Mjölby Municipality's six administrations and acts as the secretariat for the municipal council, the municipal executive committee, and the election committee. With about 130 employees, we drive strategic issues across the organization, coordinate municipality-wide work, and support both the political leadership and other administrations. The administration consists of municipal leadership, finance and governance, HR and payroll, secretariat, IT and digitalization, communication, as well as business and market.

The IT and digitalization department has overall responsibility for the municipality's IT and a strategic responsibility for digitalization. We work in a governing, supportive, and close manner with the operations to contribute to making the best use of digitalization's opportunities.

Now we want to create even better conditions for our digital development and are therefore expanding our team. You will play a central role in driving the work forward based on M365 and e-service development – from exploring and implementing new technology to identifying needs where digital solutions can make a real difference for both the organization and the citizens.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Mjölby Municipality has recently implemented Microsoft 365 and is now transitioning from project to a long-term and sustainable management organization. We are now looking for an Object Manager for Microsoft 365 who wants to take a key role in creating structure, security, and strategic direction in our digital platform and contribute to the development of the municipality's e-services.

As the object manager for Microsoft 365, you will lead the municipality's management organization and act as a specialist and coordinator for the platform. You will work closely with the operations and IT to ensure that M365 is used effectively, securely, and in line with the municipality's needs and digitalization goals. The role combines strategic responsibility with operational work and also involves working on the development of the municipality's e-services in Open ePlatform.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Lead, coordinate, and develop the management of Microsoft 365
• Work closely with the operations to capture needs, document, and prioritize development efforts
• Plan and coordinate further development of the platform
• Monitor Microsoft's roadmap and analyze its impact on the municipality
• Prepare decision-making materials and recommendations for changes
• Ensure that information and security functions are used in accordance with the municipality's guidelines
• Collaborate with internal IT on technical issues and management governance
• Handle management-related troubleshooting related to functions and usage
• Work on the development and establishment of the municipality's e-services

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant higher education in IT, systems science, or equivalent experience deemed comparable by the employer.
• Several years of experience working with Microsoft 365 in larger organizations
• Experience in management work and/or object management
• Good understanding of governance, access control, and information security
• Ability and experience to work both strategically and operationally
• Experience in requirement gathering and dialogue with operations
• Ability and experience to structure, prioritize, lead, and drive work forward
• Communicates clearly and inspiringly in Swedish in both dialogue and writing

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in creating and developing e-services
• Experience with Open ePlatform and UX design
• Experience in municipal operations or other politically governed organizations.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
