In this role in Linköping, you will work closely with production, operations, and IT to develop robust and future-proof solutions within smart manufacturing and industrial data management. You will have the opportunity to influence architecture, technology choices, and how solutions are implemented in the business.
You will be part of an agile solution team consisting of a team lead/Scrum Master, Solution Architect, Business Analyst, and developers. Together, you will drive development initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, scalability, and productivity.

Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain IoT solutions, including with Ignition and HighByte
- Integrate and configure SCADA systems to ensure stable communication between devices and systems
- Work with Unified Namespace (UNS) to create a flexible and unified data model
- Program and configure PLCs for control and monitoring of industrial processes
- Develop data flows from ERP, MES, and SCADA systems to visualization in Grafana
- Work in container-based environments with deployment in Kubernetes
- Contribute to architecture and system design with a focus on performance, stability, and scalability
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is analytical, meticulous, and methodical in their approach. You take responsibility for your tasks and have the ability to work independently while contributing to the team's common goals. Furthermore, you have a structured working style, an eye for detail, and a desire to continue developing within modern industrial technology.
Requirements:
- Practical experience from production or industrial operations
- Post-secondary education in automation technology, industrial IT, programming, computer engineering, or similar (YH/KY/engineer)
- Experience in the development and maintenance of IIoT solutions and integration of industrial devices
- Knowledge of SCADA systems; experience with Ignition or Kepware is a plus
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA and MQTT
- Experience with PLC programming and configuration
- Good programming skills, especially within industrial applications
Desirable:
- Experience with UNS or similar models for industrial data management
- HighByte Intelligence Hub
- Programming languages such as Java or Python
- SQL and database management
- Grafana for visualization and monitoring
- Version control, e.g., Git
- Kubernetes and container technology
- Machine Learning or Computer Vision
Other:
- Requirement for Swedish citizenship
- Security clearance may be required
