We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer who wants to strengthen the development operations of a Swedish government organization that works with critical digital services related to climate, water, and air quality. You will be part of self-organizing agile teams that develop and maintain both external web services and internal systems related to community planning.

You will work broadly across the stack in an environment with Linux as the target platform, where the backend is primarily built in Python (and partly Java) and the frontend in modern web development.

• Develop and enhance web services, backend functionality, APIs, and server code in a production environment
• Participate in requirements breakdown and technical solution discussions with the team
• Design and implement user interfaces with responsive design
• Collaborate closely with product owners and other team members
• Contribute to knowledge transfer and continuous improvement in the team's working methods

• At least three (3) years of documented work experience in responsive frontend development with JavaScript and/or TypeScript as well as HTML and CSS, including well-structured and maintainable code
• At least one (1) year of documented work experience in frontend development with React
• At least two (2) years of documented work experience in backend development of web services and APIs in Python, including development and maintenance of server code in a production environment
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
• The total work experience must correspond to 100% of a full-time position for the requested period and not be older than ten (10) years

• At least one (1) year of documented work experience in backend development of web services and APIs in Java
• At least two (2) years of documented work experience with Git and GitLab for issue and version management as well as CI/CD pipelines, and documented experience in a Linux-based development and/or production environment
• At least two (2) years of documented work experience in automated testing of frontend and/or backend code, such as unit and integration tests
• At least one (1) year of documented work experience with geodata and mapping services in web applications, for example with support from QGIS
