Professional Galaxy is looking for a Fullstack Developer Python on behalf of our client.

We are now looking for an experienced fullstack developer for a consulting assignment where you will contribute to the development of critical digital services related to climate, water, and air quality.

This is a consulting assignment where you will work on behalf of the company, within their development operations linked to the Department of Urban Planning.

About the assignment The assignment concerns one (1) fullstack developer who will strengthen the company's development operations. The consultant should be able to work with both front-end and back-end within the framework of the company's digital services and internal systems.

The assignment will initially be carried out within teams responsible for systems linked to the company's Department of Urban Planning. These teams develop and manage services related to water web, climate, and air quality.

The company's development work is conducted according to agile methods in self-organizing teams. The consultant should have experience working in agile development environments and is expected to contribute actively to the team's collective work.

Tasks The tasks include, among others:

development and further development of web services and backend functionality participation in requirement breakdown and technical solution discussions design and implementation of user interfaces collaboration with product owners/clients and other team members active knowledge transfer within the team Technical environment Linux as target environment Backend: Python and Java Frontend: JavaScript, CSS, QGIS, and other relevant web technologies Database: PostgreSQL   MUST requirements • Competence level 4 (9-12 years). • At least three (3) years of documented work experience in responsive frontend development with JavaScript and/or TypeScript as well as HTML and CSS. The work must have involved the development of well-structured and maintainable code. • At least one (1) year of documented work experience in frontend development with React as a modern JavaScript framework/library. • At least two (2) years of documented work experience in backend development of web services and APIs in Python. The experience should relate to the development and maintenance of server code in a production environment. • Fluent command of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form, as well as good knowledge of English both orally and in writing. • The total work experience must correspond to 100% of a full-time position for the requested period and must not be older than ten (10) years. Work experience claimed to meet multiple requirements may overlap in time.

  SHOULD requirements • At least one (1) year of documented work experience in backend development of web services and APIs in Java. • At least two (2) years of documented work experience in using Git and GitLab for issue and version management as well as establishing and using CI/CD pipelines within team-based system development projects. The offered consultant should also have documented work experience in a Linux-based development and/or operations environment. • At least two (2) years of documented work experience in working with automated testing of frontend and/or backend code, for example through unit and integration tests. • At least one (1) year of documented work experience in working with geodata and mapping services in connection with the development of web applications, for example with the support of QGIS.
